Please read up on a clan that you wish your character to be apart of before making your applications. | Name of the clan: Akimichi Clan Bloodline name: Karorī (Calorie Control) Clan element/'s: N/A Description:The Akimichi clan (秋道一族, Akimichi Ichizoku) is one of the four noble clans of Konohagakure. Members of the clan possess great physical strength and are able to quickly convert calories into chakra, which they then use in their various secret techniques. Most of these techniques rapidly consume the user's chakra during use, and maintaining them during a prolonged battle can be tiring. For this reason the Akimichi have high chakra levels and eat a lot in order to build up or replenish their chakra reserves. As a tribute, members of the clan wear the kanji for "food" (食, shoku) on the their clothing. If standard calories aren't enough for a battle, Akimichi can use the clan's Three Coloured Pills to convert excess fat into chakra, at the cost of one's health. Special characteristics/traits:Many Akimichi use a bō as their choice of weapon. These staffs have the ability to lengthen in proportion to their wielder's size. These weapons also have small appendages at the top of them. The Akimichi clan has a special relationship with the Nara and Yamanaka clan. For generations, members of these three families have formed "Ino–Shika–Chō" trios, named after the first part of the names of the members with the Akimichi members being the "Chō" in the trio. To strengthen the unity between the three clans, a member of the Sarutobi clan will give them special earrings to present to each generation head when they are promoted to chūnin after which they will swear their oaths. The earrings also symbolise that they are considered adults by their respective clans. History: Not much is known about the clan other than its relation to the Nara and Yamanaka as close allies. It is recorded that their members defeated a large opponent in the Fourth Great Shinobi War. Bloodline description: (explained above) Bloodline weaknesses: Akimichi Clan members are generally bulky, or fat. This is not necessarily a bad thing, but it can slow you down in battle or make you more sluggish. They must be constantly eating to maintain a high calorie count for jutsu (you should always be eating or keep a snack on them IC). If your character uses too many clan techniques at once, they may become dizzy or exhausted. - Spoiler:
Beside the normal chakra exhaustion rate for everyone, the Akimichi clan must have a time to eat in between using clan techniques, and have an exhaustion rate for that as follows:
Genin: After use of two clan jutsu. Chunin: After use of four clan jutsu. Tokujo: After use of six clan jutsu. Jounin/Anbu: After use of eight clan jutsu. Kage/Sannin: After use of ten clan jutsu.
They must, like the normal exhaustion rules, take one topic to cease all Akimichi techniques they're using and eat/rest. This is to keep them from just going on a long rampage with their expansion techniques. Secret Clan Jutsu:- Spoiler:
Name: Calorie Control Rank: A-Rank Element(s): - Range: 0 Meters (Self) Type: Taijutsu Sub Type: Supplementary Hand seals: None. This jutsu is controlled remotely within the user. Costs: First Stage: Costs 25 CP to activate the first stage (10 per post) Second Stage: Costs 35 CP to activate the second stage (18 per post) Third Stage: Costs 50 CP to activate the third stage (20 per post) Duration: First Stage: Lasts 12 posts before having to rest and activate again. Second Stage: Lasts 9 posts before having to rest and activate again. Third Stage: Lasts 7 posts before passing out. Cannot be used again in the same topic. Description: This ability grants members of the Akimichi clan free control of their body's calories — which they convert into chakra in order to perform their techniques. The Akimichi developed the Three Colored Pills for easier use of this technique, however, the use of these pills carry great risks. On the contrary, these effects are not seen when the user performs the technique without the assistance of the pills, but those have been long since banned. At the highest level of the technique, the user converts calories into chakra and releases the chakra in the shape of two large butterfly wings. In this form, the user can use some of their clan's high-level techniques, several times without experiencing fatigue or other adverse effects. The user still experiences weight loss but it isn't nearly as severe as when the pills are used.
This skill has three stages. In the first stage the user is allowed to use the Akimichi Techniques freely. The Akimichi Techniques cost -10 Chakra upon activation of this skill and the exhaustion rate is allowed one more technique. Minor weight loss and calorie depletion upon activation, as well. In the second stage, the user gains precise chakra and calorie control. They are absolutely and fully in control of their body. They can make them selves stick thin, to the one thousand ton man in an instant. The Akimichi skills do more damage now and go up a rank. The Akimichi Techniques cost -15 Chakra upon activation of the second stage and the exhaustion rate is allowed another technique (so two more, now). When the third stage is activated, the member gains taijutsu mastery and grows a thin layer of chakra around their body that repels all C-rank and below techniques. They also grow a pair of chakra butterfly wings that can allow them to not fly, but levitate a foot or two off the ground. They can also rush at an opponent much faster in the air. If in the air in combat, they can use the wings to navigate and evade much easier. At this point, the user has loss extreme amounts of weight, but may fully control their body on a molecular rate. All Akimichi Techniques cost no chakra and there is no exhaustion rate. When the jutsu ends, however, they immediately pass out for two posts, regardless of their chakra or wounds.
Name: Bubun Baika no Jutsu (Partial Multi-Size Technique) Rank: C-Rank Element(s): - Range: Close-Mid Range (0-8 meters dependent on size of expansion) Type: Taijutsu Sub Type: Offensive Hand seals: None. Costs: 35 CP to activate (11 per post) Duration: One expansion (i.e. an arm, leg, etc.) lasts 3 posts. Description: A practical application of the Multi-Size Technique which lets one expand their own body. The point of swelling a single part of the body is to use the weight to increase the power of one's physical attacks. Any bodily part may be augmented this way, but for ease of use the arms and legs tend to be chosen quite frequently. The speed of the expansion is exceedingly sudden, which makes it extremely difficult to avoid. Like the majority of the Akimichi clan's techniques, this one requires a considerable amount of chakra.
Name: Baika no Jutsu (Multi-Size Technique) Rank: B-Rank Element(s): - Range: 0 Meters (self) Type: Taijutsu Sub Type: Supplementary/Offensive Hand seals: None. Costs: 50 CP to activate (17 per post) Duration: Up to 8 posts before having to rest and activate again. Description: This is a secret technique passed down in the Akimichi clan that increases the user's body size by converting their calories into chakra. The user can freely alter their size at will when using this technique, and can use it for an extensive period of time. A common application of the techniques gives the user a very round appearance by mostly increasing the size of the abdominal section, which is done in order to use other techniques. Other, more common applications increase the size of the entire body, turning the user into a giant.
Name: Chō Baika no Jutsu (Super Multi-Size Technique) Rank: A-Rank Element(s): - Range: 0 Meters (self) Type: Taijutsu Sub Type: Supplementary/Offensive Hand seals: None. Costs: 75 CP to activate (25 per post) Duration: Lasts up to 5 posts before having to rest and activate again. Description: The Super Multi-Size Technique is the height of the Multi-Size Technique, which multiplies the user’s body to a size beyond belief. The attack method depends on the situation and the user’s inventiveness, but massive punches, kicks and body slamming is common. However, the abnormally extreme physical change also places a large burden on the user’s body if they are unable to use Calorie Control. The clothes of the user also expand along with the body.
Name: Nikudan Sensha (Human Bullet Tank) Rank: C-Rank Element(s): - Range: 0 Meters (contact must be made with target) Type: Taijutsu Sub Type: Offensive Hand seals: None. Costs: 35 CP to activate Duration: Lasts up to 2 posts before having to rest and activate again. Description: A threatening taijutsu trick that converts the users large frame into a destructive weapon. The user first uses Multi-Size Technique to make themselves into a human-sized ball, then they tuck in their limbs and use chakra to propel themselves into a powerful roll. Its effective use of weight and the force of rotation make for an even greater lethality than appearances would let on, enough to pulverise someone's hand with but a mere touch. It is difficult for the user to turn in this form. This technique has the added effect of plugging up the user's ears. Note: Multi-Size Technique or Super Multi-Size Technique has to have been used the turn before to activate this.
Name: Chōharite (Super Open Hand Slap) Rank: A-Rank Element(s): - Range: Close-Mid Range (Dependent on the size of the hands and arm) Type: Taijutsu Sub Type: Offensive Hand seals: None. Costs: 75 CP to activate. Duration: One turn (the turn of activation). Description: After using the Multi-Size Technique to increase their size, the user funnels chakra into their hands, which causes special markings to appear in them. The weight and power of the hands are greatly increased because of the larger size, the muscles are activated with concentrated chakra, and the thickness is also increased. With so much chakra that it becomes visible, the user's palms become like an iron hammer. This gives this attack the power to even cave in the earth, causing extensive crushing damage to anything that may be caught beneath them. This attack is also shown to have a wide range due to the increased size of his palms. Note: Multi-Size Technique or Super Multi-Size Technique has to have been used the turn before to activate this.
Name: Nikudan Hari Sensha (Spiked Human Bullet Technique) Rank: C-Rank+ Element(s): - Range: 0 Meters (must make contact with target) Type: Taijutsu Sub Type: Offensive Hand seals: None. Costs: 35 CP to activate and 15x Kunai Duration: Lasts up to 2 posts before having to rest and activate again. Description: This technique is an enhanced version of the Akimichi clan's Human Bullet Tank with its effectiveness raised several times by using it together with weapons. One application of this technique first involves the user wrapping ropes with kunai attached around their body, after which the Multi-Size Technique is used. From that state, one switches over to the Human Bullet Tank. Using the kunai as spikes, the rotation power increases, and the attack power also drastically goes up. | Name of the clan: Kaguya Clan Bloodline name: Shikotsumyaku Clan element(s): N/A Description:The Kaguya clan (かぐや一族, Kaguya Ichizoku) is a clan originating from Kirigakure known to be very barbaric. Select few possessed the kekkei genkai Shikotsumyaku; this ability was so powerful that even the war-loving Kaguya clan feared it. The clan was very savage and had no tactics when going to battle, and refused to back down even when surrounded and completely outmatched, preferring to fight to the death for fun. Special characteristics/traits: The members of this clan love to fight and other than that, they do not seem to have any similarities in personality. Physically, they are all born with white or grey hair (some can be purple in tint, put not too much). They all have the same forehead markings placed on them at birth. If they ever are to remove them, they dishonor themselves and thereby are thrown out of the clan (ex. a rogue shinobi might erase their marks or a blood thirsty ninja might erase them to stun their opponent when they notice they have the Kaguya blood). Due to the illness that runs in their blood and nearly wiped out their clan, not many members live past 35 years old. History: Around the time of the Fourth Great Shinobi War, they were thought to have already died out due to a cancer-like illness that ravaged their bloodline, but there were few that were still in hiding and having children. Eventually, the clan became a small establishment in Kirigakure. Bloodline description:Shikotsumyaku (屍骨脈; Literally meaning "Dead Bone Pulse", Meaning (Viz) "Corpse Bone Chain") is the kekkei genkai of the Kaguya clan, which gives them the ability to manipulate their own skeletal structure (their osteoblasts and osteoclasts). By infusing their calcium with chakra, they could manipulate the growth and properties of their bones to their liking. The main capabilities of Shikotsumyaku is allowing the user to manipulate the speed of their bones' growth as well as the location of calcium deposits. This allows them to create weapons of bones that can either protrude from any part of the body, or pulled out and used like hand held weapons. The user was also able to create armor of dense bone underneath their skin. Immediately after the bone is pulled out, the broken skin heals. Although it seems it takes a bit longer for the limb to become usable again unless the user regrows the bones consciously. They can even fire pieces of their bones as long-ranged projectiles. Any bone that they remove from the body immediately regenerates, as does the skin that is damaged when the bones are removed. Users can increase the density of the created bones, making them stronger than steel. This not only makes the created weapons very powerful, but also makes their bodies virtually indestructible; the bones can withstand even a chakra-infused blade, which is usually enough to cut through anything. - Spoiler:
The mastery of this bloodline requires training, of course, and everybody must do-so equally.
Level One: Everybody starts with this level of the bloodline (unless you have received special permission from a mod/admin). The user can use up to C-Rank clan techniques and can harden their bones to repel D-Rank and below techniques. They can create short swords (1-8 inches) out of their bones freely. Costs 15 CP per post to maintain in battle.
Level Two: Requires 2200+ words of training and 20,000 Ryo. The user can use up to A-Rank clan techniques and can harden their bones to repel C-Rank and below techniques, as well as kunais and shurikens. They can create kunais, swords, and short staffs out of their bones now. They have adept control of their bone structure and calcium, and know their body pretty well. They now automatically regenerate from D-Rank and below wounds in two posts (i.e. first post: wounded/healing process begins, second post: healed). Costs 18 CP per post to maintain in battle.
Level Three: Requires 3300+ words of training and 55,000 Ryo. The user can use up to S-Rank clan techniques and can harden their bones to repel B-Rank and below techniques, as well as all kunais, shuriken, swords, etc. This is the final stage and thus is the mastery of the clan bloodline. They can shift and create weapons of all varieties from their bones and control their calcium and bone structure expertly. They now automatically regenerate from C-Rank and below wounds in two posts (i.e. first post: wounded/healing process begins, second post: healed). Costs 25 CP per turn to maintain in battle. Bloodline weaknesses: The members who possess the Shikotsumyaku abilities have a different body structure than others, so traditional medical techniques have little effect on them. Poisons and such that can kill a normal person if not treated will kill them regardless of treatment. Therefore, special antidotes must be made for them (requires mastery medic). Name: Tsubaki no Mai (Dance of the Camellia) Rank: C-Rank Element(s): - Range: 0-5 Meters Type: Taijutsu Sub Type: Offensive Hand seals: None. Costs: 35 CP to activate (10 per post) Duration: Up to 4 posts before having to rest and activate again (7 posts for level three bloodline) Description: The second of the Kaguya's five dances, which one performs by modifying one of his upper arm bones to create a short, bone-hilted bone sword. He then stabs chaotically and continuously which causes the opponents eyes to lag behind. The speed resembles afterimages, the hand with the sword is again and again visibly projected. And yet the movement is irregular which makes it difficult to predict. With each thrust the sword's track is very capable of changing. The attack comes from unexpected angles, causing a person's delicate defense reaction to come off guard. Though one can have great reflexes and moving ability, it is next to impossible to keep dodging the fierce attack until it stops. Thus if one showed an opening, a finishing blow could be dealt by one stab in an instant.
Name: Yanagi no Mai (Dance of the Willow) Rank: C-Rank Element(s): - Range: 0-8 Meters Type: Taijutsu Sub Type: Offensive Hand seals: None. Costs: 35 CP to activate (11 per post) Duration: Lasts up to 4 posts before having to rest and activate again (7 posts if level three bloodline). Description: The first of the Kaguya's five dances. To perform this dance, the user grows several long bone blades from his body for use as weapons. There isn't any set form for the Dance of the Willow. Just like a willow that is shaken by the wind, the opponents attacks are simply parried and countered. Uncharacteristic of a willow, the hardened bones puncture and damage the opponents body. Though the users primarily uses two blades grown from the palms of his hands, he also uses several secondary bones grown from his elbows, knees, and shoulders. This dance form is incredibly acrobatic, using spins, charges, and long sweeping slashes to make the strikes more effective and to evade opponents' counter strikes. The user can also extend his bones to attack his opponents without having to adjust his own movement, and they can be extracted at high speeds.
Name: Karamatsu no Mai (Dance of the Larch) Rank: B-Rank Element(s): - Range: 0-3 Meters Type: Taijutsu Sub Type: Defensive Hand seals: None. Costs: 50 CP to activate (15 per post). Duration: Infinite (until chakra depletion, of course) Description: The third of the Kaguya's five dances. From the body, several bones pop out all at once. The stronger the opponent's physical attack, the more powerful the counter attack is, dealing severe damage. The sudden defense, combined with the needle-like bones high killing ability, makes way for a technique which potential his high for battle. The bones can be used to block or trap an opponent's strikes. In addition to being an unwelcome surprise for opponents, it makes him basically untouchable at close range. If an opponent would start to get close to him, the user would start to spin rapidly slashing the foe in multiple areas of their body.
Name: Tessenka no Mai: Tsuru (Dance of the Clematis: Vine) Rank: B-Rank Element(s): - Range: 0-15 Meters (25 meters if level three bloodline) Type: Taijutsu Sub Type: Offensive Hand seals: None. Costs: 35 CP to activate (10 per post) Duration: Lasts up to 5 turns before having to reactivate. Description: The first half of the Kaguya's fourth dance. With the Shikotsumyaku, the user can modify and pull out their own spinal column, and regrow a new spine to replace it. Between the bones in the gaps there is cartilage that allows flexibility, which makes it possible to bend it as if it were a whip. With average estimation skills along with the impossible range it stretches, dodging is difficult. The protrusions on the vertebrae are modified to make them stronger and sharper. This technique is normally followed up with Dance of the Clematis: Flower to pierce the immobilized opponent.
Name: Tessenka no Mai: Hana (Dance of the Clematis: Flower) Rank: A-Rank Element(s): - Range: 0-10 Meters Type: Taijutsu Sub Type: Offensive Hand seals: None. Costs: 75 CP to activate (15 per post) Duration: Lasts up to 4 turns before having to be reactivated. Description: This technique is the second half of the Kaguya's fourth dance. To obtain the strongest-absolute hardest weapon a considerable amount of chakra and focus is needed. Enhanced to the highest degree-maximum solidity due to the dense compression, the bone weapon is exceedingly large. This can pierce up to A-Rank weapons and defenses. Since its destructive power has no meaning if the blow does not connect with the opponent, it is practical to first bind the opponent with a "vine". *Note: This technique can only be used after Dance of the Clematis: Vine.
